5000 people join an organised march by Sinn Féin through Dublin city centre to mark the 70th anniversary of the Easter Rising.
The march started at St Stephen's Green and made its way to the GPO on O'Connell St.
Traffic was disrupted and Gardaí were surprised by the big turnout.
Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams was among the participants, which also included Martin McGuinness. Martin Galvin and Michael Flannery of the Irish Northern Aid Committee NORAID also made an appearance. Sinn Féin's national organiser Pat Doherty addressed the rally.
During the rally, Union Jack and Ulster flags were burnt in the street.
