Joe Rea, Irish Farmers Association (IFA) leader, presents Gerrit Braks, President of the European Economic Community (EEC) Council of Farm Ministers, with a letter outlining Irish farmers opposition to the farm price package.
Mr Braks was in Dublin for a meeting with Austin Deasy, Minister for Agriculture. Mr Braks is meeting agriculture ministers throughout Europe, each of whom has expressed their own problems with the price package.
