Dublin Council of Trade Unions press launch a five point pledge prior to local elections.

Report shows press conference outlining the pledge which includes opposing local service and water charges, seeking more money for housing, ending ground rents, shared community sites for travellers and the freezing of third level fees.

The pledge is backed by the Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO), Association of College Registrars and Administrators (ACRA), Union of Students in Ireland (USI) , the Unemployment Alliance and a Travellers association.
