A new community school with a contemporary design caters for students in north Limerick.
In operation for the past two years, but officially opened this week by Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism Des O'Malley, St Nessan’s Community College is located at Moylish Park on the outskirts of Limerick city.
Built on a greenfield site the modern design facilitates maximum use of natural light and classroom acoustics.
Students learn in an environment equipped for their needs with a language laboratory and dedicated classrooms for woodwork, science, home economics, computers, music and drama.
There are specific room designs for different subjects.
A post Leaving Certificate secretarial skills course and repeat Leaving Certificate courses are also available.
