The expansion of the Google European headquarters will provide six hundred new jobs in Dublin.
The latest phase in Google growth will bring the total number of employees at the internet giant in Ireland to over a thousand. The Google European headquarters in Barrow Street will cover Europe, the Middle Eastern and African markets, making it the largest operation outside the United States.
Google European Online Director John Herlihy explains that other departments in the company benefit from the language skills of international staff in Dublin. There are people coming here from about forty different countries.
