Three generations share how they see the role of women on farms changing.

An increasing number of women are studying agricultural science at third level. The student body at Gurteen Agricultural College in County Tipperary is more diverse than most people might think. They come from a variety of backgrounds, and this year ten of its sixty five students are female.

Working in an office did not appeal to Gráinne Sugars, who is from County Dublin. She prefers the outdoor life, and when her studies are complete, has hopes to work with a large dairy herd.
