The 2nd Motor Squadron holds a passing out parade at Duncannon Fort in Wexford.
The Irish Army 2nd Motor Squadron held the passing out ceremony at Duncannon Fort which was built in 1588. The squadron is usually stationed at Cathal Brugha Barracks in Dublin, but recruits have been undergoing summer training at Duncannon. At the event members of the Defence Forces gave a display of military drills.
Awards are presented by Colonel Martin O'Brien during the ceremonies, including one for best soldier, which was received by Trooper John Woolf from Dublin.
The unit provides the Presidential motor escort also gives a display of motorcycle riding.
