A vintage car and steam engine rally brings Limerick Civic Week to a conclusion.

Mayor of Limerick Alderman Patrick Kennedy lead a parade of vintage vehicles in a veteran blue Lagonda. The cavalcade included steam engines and a Merryweather fire engine from the 1930s, formerly used by Limerick Corporation.

Over thirty modern cars are also taking part in the parade, entered by local garages.

Starting from Perry Square, the parade makes its way through Limerick streets to Arthur's Quay, where a vintage fairground organ provides the musical entertainment.
