Visitors drawn to Asdee where children believe they saw movement from statues in the local church.

Hundreds of people have visited the village church in Asdee County Kerry where it was reported two statues moved in front of children last Thursday.

Visitors to the church light candles and recite decades of the rosary before the statues of the Sacred Heart and the Blessed Virgin.

Local curate, Father O'Sullivan, released a statement today that says 36 children claim to have seen hand and eye movements. The priest is keeping an open mind on the matter and has reported the claims to his superiors.

One of those who claim to have witnessed the statues moving is seven year old Elizabeth Flynn. Fr O'Sullivan says the girl is incapable of lying. Elizabeth Flynn is convinced by what she saw and another witness backs her..

It wasn't my imagination at all.

Fr O'Sullivan believes that the children are not trying to deceive anyone and if the events have any significance, then there will be a further movement. However, he has not seen any difference in the statues.
