Acts from Ireland among an impressive line up to perform at the Electric Picnic.
Over 57,000 festival goers head to Stradbally in County Laois for the Electric Picnic music and arts festival. Among the big names performing are Billie Eilish, Dermot Kennedy and headline act, Hozier, who is looking forward to playing to a home crowd.
As the music fans settled into their campsites, David Keenan was the first act to take to the main stage at Stradbally.
While Hozier has played at Electric Picnic before, this year he is a headline act and is looking forward to playing to a home crowd.
It's really, really lovely coming home with this band and with this music.
Fellow Irish musician Dermot Kennedy recalls playing the festival four years ago to about twenty people. He played to a bigger crowd last year and is hopeful of an even bigger crowd again tonight.
