Advance viewing of the many items on show at the 14th Irish Antique Dealers Association Fair.

Film star Rex Harrison and American Ambassador William Shannon were among those at the Mansion House in Dublin.for the preview of the Irish Antiques Fair ahead of the opening to the public.

Dealer Gerald Kenyon is confident that the fair will be a success. Customer numbers are boosted by the fact that the Dublin Horse Show is taking place at the same time bringing potential international customers to town. Gerald Kenyon beleive the the fair offers very competitive prices as a result of the value of sterling to the punt.

Goods here are better than they've ever been.

The Irish Antiques Fair is an opportunity to show a wide range of Irish furniture and silver to in one place.
