Stars of The Riordans lead the parade to open a week long festival in Bailieborough County Cavan.
The 10th year of the Bailieborough Festival starts with a parade through the town from Market Square to St Anne's Park. The parade was led by John Cowley who plays Tom Riordan and Moira Deady who plays Mary Riordan in the RTÉ rural soap 'The Riordans' .
Bailieborough's week long festival put The Riordans back on television.
The newly crowned Miss Lakeland, Catherine Murtagh from Dungannon, was also part of the parade which attracted around three thousand onlookers.
