It’s a celebration of 100 years existence for a club with no clubhouse.

One of the weekend highlights is the sail past in Scotsman's Bay from the Battery, Sandycove Point to Dún Laoghaire Harbour. This flotilla of approximately 500 craft, includes the Dún Laoghaire lifeboat.

The centenary is marked by two days of intensive sailing, including a race from Holyhead in Wales to Dún Laoghaire. An exhibition held in Dún Laoghaire at the maritime museum traces the history of sailing. Sailors and spectators are also treated to an air display.
