Many of the people employed in factories at the new Shannon industrial estate travel to work by bus.

The Shannon Industrial Estate is now a major provider of employment in the Clare and Limerick area. There are a growing number of business and factories operating from the industrial park situated near Shannon Airport.

For many workers the day begins each morning with a commute by bus to the Shannon Industrial Estate. After clocking in employees begin their working day.
