Tipperary team win their 21st All Ireland Hurling Championship at Croke Park.

Tipperary beat Wexford in the All Ireland Hurling Final to win the Liam McCarthy cup for the 21st time. The win saw John Doyle collect his 8th All Ireland Senior Hurling medal, a record he shared with Cork hurler Christy Ring.
