The speed the game of hurling is played at is astonishing to most first time viewers. Blink and you probably will miss something. An awful lot can happen in one minute.
Here is an example from the 2009 All Ireland Hurling Final. With less than ten minutes remaining Noel McGrath scores a point to put Tipperary two points ahead but within a minute Kilkenny have scored two goals to lead by four points. The first from a Henry Shefflin penalty and the second from Martin Comerford.
Kilkenny eventually won the game by 2-22 to 0-23 to claim their fourth All Ireland title in a row.
