Thanks for helping to identify this previously unidenfied vibraphone player at Cork Jazz Festival in 1983. He has been successfully identified as Milt (Milton) Jackson (1923 - 1999).

Discovered by Dizzy Gillespie, Milt Jackson went on to form the 'Milt Jackson Quartet' with John Lewis, Ray Brown and Kenny Clarke. They later became the 'Modern Jazz Quartet'. During his career he collaborated with some of the top jazz, blues, and soul artists such as John Coltrane, B.B. King and Ray Charles.
