Justin Nelson began his working life in the 1950 as a press photographer with The Nationalist newspaper in Carlow.

He moved to RTÉ to work as a cameraman when the station opened in 1961. Justin Nelson went on to become a producer and director of a wide range of television programmes.

Now retired and coping with Parkinson’s Disease Justin has published his autobiography called ‘Why Me?’. Alasdair Jackson recently spoke with Justin about his long career for Nationwide.
