Fuel wholesaler and petrol station retailer Amber Oil says it will create 65 new jobs over the next three months.

The company, based in Fermoy, Co Cork, plans to invest €7m in upgrading and expanding its network of service stations. The jobs will be a mix of full-time and part-time positions.

Amber Oil now has 23 outlets and is building a flagship 8,900 square feet facility in Fermoy.

CEO Liam O'Neill said the company was aiming for continued expansion through acquisitions and development over the next 18 months. 'We believe that there is real value in the market now and we intend to capitalise on it.' he said.
