Setanta Sports says it has won the Irish rights to broadcast live coverage of 33 English Premier League football matches for each of the next three seasons.
The games will be broadcast live on Setanta in the Republic of Ireland at 3pm on Saturday afternoons during the 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. Setanta retains the package it won in July for the current season.
Setanta UK was forced into administration earlier this year after it failed to meet payments to the English and Scottish premier leagues.
The closure of Setanta UK meant the loss of 200 jobs but Setanta Sports Ireland has continued to broadcast in the Republic where it employs 180 people.
