Gold exploration company Conroy Diamonds & Gold has raised €300,000 from a new Irish investor, who is buying 10 million new shares at 3 cent each.
The new investor, Patrick O'Sullivan, will have a stake of just under 7.4% in the company.
In addition, chairman Professor Richard Conroy has capitalised loans amounting to €325,000 by subscribing for 10,833,333 shares at the same price.
The company said it would use the proceeds mainly to fund continuing work at its gold prospects in Ireland, where it has already announced the discovery of a resource of more than one million ounces of gold.
