Bob Geldof and Chris de Burgh are no longer on the list of Ireland's wealthiest people. According to the new Sunday Times Rich List, to be published with the newspaper this Sunday, wealth of at least €50m was needed this year to be one of Ireland's Richest 250 people, up from €40m last year.
On last year's list Sir Bob was worth €44m. Chris de Burgh was worth €40m in 2007.
Barney Eastwood, Aer Arann owner Padraig O'Ceidigh and former Unionist MP John Taylor are among the 33 new entrants to the list.
Author Cecelia Ahern, 26, and golfer Graeme McDowell, 28, both get onto the accompanying Irish Young Rich List, having made over €7m each.
John Taylor, 70, made his €95m fortune by building Ireland largest privately-owned newspaper group, Alpha, while a Ulster Unionist MP. Taylor shares his fortune with his wife Mary, who is largely responsible for running the Alpha business.
Others debuting include Eamon Rothwell, chief executive of ferry operator, Irish Continental Group, who is in at €65m.
The list says U2 is worth €624m, Michael Flatley is worth €471m and Belfast's Katie Melua has more than doubled her wealth, rising to seventh spot in the list of wealthy young musicians, at €22m.
