EA in new bid to capture Grand Theft Auto

The world's biggest computer game maker, Electronic Arts (EA), said today that it had launched a  new takeover bid for rival Take-Two, the maker of hit game Grand  Theft Auto, valuing Take-Two at $2 billion.

US-based EA made a similar offer at the end of February that was rejected by Take-Two.

Grand Theft Auto is one of the most popular computer games on  the market, but also one of the most controversial because of its violent nature.
