SAP, the world's leading maker of business software, has reported solid third quarter results which were in line with expectations.
Net profit grew by just over 10% to €408m, SAP said. Software and software-related service revenue, a key indicator for the sector, increased by 13% to €1.74 billion, prompting SAP chief executive Henning Kagermann to hail 'another strong quarter'.
SAP maintained its full-year estimate for the revenue figure, with the statement saying 'it now expects to reach the upper end of the range' of 12-14% growth.
