SAP, the world's leading maker of business software, is maintaining its full-year earnings forecasts after turning in a better than expected performance in the second quarter.
SAP said net profit grew by 8.2% to €449m in the period from April to June. Revenues from software and software-related services, the key yardstick for the sector, were up 15.5% at €1.71 billion. Software sales alone rose by 18% to €715m in the three-month period.
SAP said it was therefore sticking to its target for an increase of 12-14% in full-year software and software-related revenues.
