BSkyB and Setanta have reached agreement covering commercial customers, after both companies were awarded rights to televise live English Premiership matches for a three-year period starting in 2007.
Under the deal, pubs, clubs, sports centres and other commercial premises will receive Setanta's live coverage as part of their BSkyB subscription. BSkyB said the agreement means its commercial customers will not have to take out a separate subscription to see all live Premiership games.
The two companies have also reached agreement in principle under which Setanta's Premiership coverage will also be available to residential customers on Sky's digital satellite platform.
The Premier League last week awarded 92 live games a season to BSkyB, with Setanta given the rights to show 46.
