Police investigating the attempted murder of two police officers in Strabane last November have made three arrests.

Two women, aged 25 and 27, and a 51-year-old man were detained in Strabane, Co Tyrone under the Terrorism Act.

The two officers escaped injury when a roadside bomb was detonated as their vehicle passed by in the Mount Carmel Heights area of the town on 17 November 2022.

They were responding to reports of anti-social behaviour in the area at the time.
