Pupils from schools in Ennis, Co Clare, took part in a protest today calling for action on climate change as part of the international day of protests across the world.
Pupils from Coláiste Mhuire Secondary School along with primary pupils from Gaelscoil Mhíchíl Cíosóg took part in the protest which took place in the square on the town’s O’Connell Street, at the De Valera monument.

They called on their fellow pupils across the country to do more, to play their part in affecting climate change.
They said there is no ‘Planet B’ and that they will be left with the results of climate inaction now when they are adults.
