A 17-year-old Somalian teenager has been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Ukrainian teenager Vadkym Davydenko in north Dublin.
The victim who arrived in Ireland seeking asylum last Sunday, was stabbed at a Tusla care facility at around 11am on Wednesday.
The accused who cannot be named because of his age was brought before Judge Treasa Kelly at Dublin District Court this evening.

A representative from Tusla and a Somali interpreter were present in the court, while there was also a large garda presence in the room, including members of the force in protective gear.
Detective Sergeant Mark Quill said the teenager made no reply when the charges were read to him by Garda Shane Roche through an interpreter at Clontarf Garda Station.
Defence solicitor Andrew Walsh said a Tusla social worker and a court-appointed guardian ad litem had attended the hearing as responsible adults for the boy.
Mr Walsh made no application for bail and requested that his client receive urgent psychiatric and medical attention in custody.
Judge Kelly granted this order and the teenager was remanded in custody and taken to Oberstown Detention Campus in Dublin.
He is due to appear before the Children's Court again next Tuesday.
