A judge has adjourned the case against MMA fighter Conor McGregor for road traffic offences.

Mr McGregor did not attend Blanchardstown District Court today due to illness.

The court heard the 34-year-old was "indisposed" and attended his GP this morning, and had a likely diagnosis of influenza.

Lawyers for Mr McGregor said that they had been unable to resolve matters and sought a hearing date.

Judge David McHugh adjourned the case and listed it for hearing on 6 December.
