A man has been hospitalised following an incident on a train in north Dublin.

The incident happened shortly after 10pm on a train travelling northbound between Killester and Harmonstown stations.

The man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Another man has been arrested and taken to Raheny Garda Station in connection with the incident.

Iarnród Éireann said services were suspended between Clontarf Road and Howth Junction following an incident on the 9.40pm service from Pearse Station to Drogheda.

Dublin Bus accepted rail tickets for affected passengers.
