A 25-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of teenager Keane Mulready-Woods in Drogheda, Co Louth, last year.

Paul Crosby, with an address at Rathmullen Park in Drogheda, was arrested this morning and brought before a sitting of Dundalk District Court.

He was charged with the murder of the 17-year-old boy at 31 Rathmullen Park, Drogheda, on 12-13 January 2020.

Detective Sergeant Peter Cooney told the court that he arrested and charged Mr Crosby with murder at 11.21am.

He told the court the accused made no reply.

Judge Eirinn McKiernan remanded Mr Crosby in custody and he is due to appear before Drogheda District next week.
