Three men and a teenage boy have been arrested in connection with the murder of Co Galway publican and schoolteacher John Kenny.
Two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, and the 17-year-old were arrested in the Galway area following planned searches early this morning.
They are being held in Galway Garda station.
A fourth man, in his late 20s, was later arrested in Galway.
Mr Kenny, 56, was found dead at his pub in Oughterard in the early hours of Sunday, 25 September.
A post mortem revealed he died as a result of an assault.
On Sunday, a 37-year-old man appeared before a special sitting of the District Court in Galway, charged in connection with the death.
Florin Fitzpatrick, from Romania, was remanded in custody to appear again before Harristown District Court next Friday.
Mr Fitzpatrick was charged with withholding information in connection with the unlawful killing of Mr Kenny.
