RTÉ has secured the rights to broadcast the second leg of Ireland's World Cup play-off against France in Paris tomorrow night.

RTÉ will broadcast the match on television, radio and online - within the Republic of Ireland.

The breakthrough came after days of negotiations between television companies and the French Football Federation.

RTÉ's Group Head of Sport Glen Killane said he was delighted with the news.

The cost of the deal, which is non-exclusive, has not been disclosed.

Con Murphy will present live coverage of the game on RTÉ Radio 1 on FM, on LW 252, on digital service RTÉ Radio 1 Extra and online from 7.30pm.

Gabriel Egan and Eoin Hand will provide match commentary.

The match will also be streamed live on RTE.ie/live within the Republic of Ireland.

Last Saturday's first leg with France attracted a peak television audience of over 1.1 million viewers.

An average of 858,000 viewers tuned in to RTÉ Two for the entire match from kick-off to final whistle with the audience peaking during the final minutes of the game.
