Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland have it all to do as they face into the World Cup play-off against France with a place in South Africa next summer at stake. France hold a 1-0 lead, and a priceless away goal, from the first leg in Croke Park

The second leg takes place in Paris on Wednesday, 18 November, and RTÉ Sport will keep soccer fans in Ireland and across the world in touch with the very latest from the Irish camp in the run-up to the game.

The game kicks off at 8pm (Irish time) and there will be extensive coverage from the RTÉ Sport team across RTÉ Television, RTÉ Radio, RTÉ News and RTÉ.ie before, during and after the game.

Bill O'Herlihy is joined by John Giles, Eamon Dunphy and Graeme Souness for the Republic of Ireland's second leg World Cup Qualifier play-off against France as they try and overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Croke Park.

The boys in green are set to battle hard against the former world cup winners to earn their place for South Africa next summer. The match kicks off at 8.00pm with commentary by George Hamilton.

Trapattoni's men make their way over to Stade de France in Paris for the second leg of the 2010 World Cup play-offs along with a mass exodus of Irish soccer fans. The Irish will be hoping to overturn the 1-0 defeat in Croke Park.
