Irish Times editor Geraldine Kennedy and Public Affairs Correspondent Colm Keena have announced their decision to appeal the High Court's order directing them to answer questions at the Mahon Tribunal.
The Tribunal wants the two to answer questions about documents relating to the Taoiseach's finances.
Today the High Court was told they would be appealing to the Supreme Court as soon as possible.
A stay has been put on the order, meaning they will not have to appear at the Tribunal until the Supreme Court makes its decision.
