The Minister for Justice, Michael McDowell, has tonight criticised what he said was a minority of journalists in the public broadcasting sector for wanting to be 'agenda-setters'.

Delivering the tenth anniversary lecture in the Broadcasting, Society and Law series, sponsored by RTÉ and UCD,  Mr McDowell said he was concerned about current trends.
