A jury of four men and eight women has been selected for the trial in California of pop star Michael Jackson, who faces charges of child abuse.
Eight alternates remain to be chosen and opening statements in the case could begin as early as next week.
Jackson denies plying a boy with alcohol and molesting him.
If convicted, he could face a maximum of 21 years in prison.
