Police in Merseyside are investigating the theft of thousands of copies of the new Harry Potter book thought to be worth around £1 million.
It is believed the books were taken from a trading estate on Sunday night.
The trailer was discovered in Salford, Greater Manchester, yesterday without its load.
The new book is due to go on sale this Saturday.
