An Assistant News Editor at the Sunday Independent has denied an allegation by the paper's former Crime Correspondent, Liz Allen, that he threw a cigarette at her and bad mouthed her to colleagues. Jody Corcoran was giving evidence at the constructive dismissal case being taken by Ms Allen against the paper. Ms Allen alleges that Mr Corcoran and the paper's Deputy Editor, Willie Kealy, bullied, harassed and intimidated her.
