A man accused of murdering his ex-wife after they had both appeared on an American television show has surrendered to police in Florida. Ralf and Nancy Panitz took part in the Jerry Springer show earlier this week, together with Mr Panitz's current wife Eleanor. The couple then disappeared, and shortly afterwards Nancy Panitz was found beaten to death at her home. She and her former husband were in dispute over the property. The Jerry Springer Show has been heavily criticised over the events but Mr Springer has insisted that the show had nothing to do with the death.
