Mark Murphy's oat and chocolate chip bars: Today
Ingredients
- 160g butter
- 250g oats
- 200g ground almond
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp. honey
- dash of vanilla extract
- 200g chocolate chips
- 60g chocolate melted (optional)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 170C, line a tray with greaseproof paper.
- Add the butter to a pot over medium heat, allow it to melt and once melted cook it for 2-3 minutes. Let it brown but be careful to not let it burn.
- In a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour in the butter and stir well. Spread this evenly on the tray.
- Put the tray in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes. Allow them to cool and cut into bars. Add drizzle some melted chocolate over if using.
