Ingredients

  • 160g butter
  • 250g oats
  • 200g ground almond
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • dash of vanilla extract
  • 200g chocolate chips
  • 60g chocolate melted (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170C, line a tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Add the butter to a pot over medium heat, allow it to melt and once melted cook it for 2-3 minutes. Let it brown but be careful to not let it burn.
  3. In a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour in the butter and stir well. Spread this evenly on the tray.
  5. Put the tray in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes. Allow them to cool and cut into bars. Add drizzle some melted chocolate over if using.
