An unbelievably simple recipe for cold evenings.


300g Mince Meat (12% Fat) for meatballs

10 Chopped Baby potatoes 

Chopped canned tomatoes x2

Italian herbs 1 tsp

Mexican chilli 1 tsp

Chives (to taste)

Cheddar cheese 100g

Parmigiano-Reggiano (to taste)

Half a Cup of white wine

Half a medium Onion diced

4 crushed Garlic cloves


  1. Mix the mince with the herbs, chilli, chives and Parmigiano-Reggiano. Form them into balls a little smaller than golfball-size. Place meatballs in a hot pan and leave them to sear.
  2. Add garlic, onions, herbs and spices and sautté off.
  3. Then add a quick deglaze with the white wine.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and potatoes. Put in oven for 35-45 minutes. Finish under the grill with cheddar. Serve.
