Serve with warm crusty bread buns, lettuce, tomato and a side of relish.
Ingredients
- 1kg minced lamb
- 1 egg
- 50g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp chopped fresh mint
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 red onion, diced and cooked
- 150g diced black pudding
Method
- Preheat oven to 180c.
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and shape into 170g burgers.
- Place a pan on a medium heat. Once the pan is hot add a drop of oil (vegetable, sunflower or rapeseed).
- Place the burger down in the pan and cook for three to four minutes or until a nice colour has formed. Then turn over and cook for a further 4 minutes. Transfer to a tray and bake in the oven for a further 14 minutes.
- Serve with warm crusty bread buns, lettuce, tomato and a side of relish.
