Donal Skehan shows us how to make this gorgeous quick dish for less than a tenner!
Ingredients
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- a thumb sized piece of ginger (grated)
- 1 tblsp oyster sauce
- 2 tblsp soy sauce
- 1 tblsp honey
- 2 turkey breasts (sliced into thin strips)
- 100 g of rice vermicelli noodles
- 2 tblsp sunflower oil
- 2 red peppers (finely sliced)
- 1 broccoli (finely sliced)
- 1 red onion (finely sliced)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- a good handful of bean sprouts
Method
- Soak the noodles in a bowl of boiling water for 6 minutes or until soft. Drain and set aside.
- Mix the turkey with soy sauce, oyster sauce and honey.
- Heat a wok over a high heat and add the oil to coat. Stir-fry the turkey for 2min then take it out of the wok.
- Stir-fry garlic, ginger and onion for 2 minutes, then add the turkey and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and peppers, and stir fry for another 4 minutes.
- Add the noodles and bean sprouts and a drop of sesame oil to taste. Toss everything together using kitchen tongs until it’s combined.
- Serve straight away.
