Ed Sheeran is releasing another remix of his hit track Perfect - this time with singing sensation Andrea Bocelli.

Ed Sheeran’s Perfect has already hit the top spot with the original and a reworked version featuring Beyoncé. Now he is hoping to make it third time lucky – just in time for Christmas –  this time a collaboration with the opera star.

Sheeran will even sing in Italian on the track which is due to be released on Friday.

Sharing the news on Instagram the Galway Girl singer said: "Orchestral version of Perfect with the amazing @andreabocelliofficial comes out Friday.

"Orchestrated and produced by my super talented brother Matt, little gift for you all before Christmas.

"Hope you love it as much as I do. I sing in Italian too which is fun x."

Sheeran was recently asked if having a Christmas number 1 was on his wish list. Speaking to the BBC he said:  "I’d be lying if I said no. I do have one more trick up my sleeve. It’s not like a Beyonce trick, but it’s quite a cool trick."

Ed refused to go into details, but told BBC Radio 1’s Chart Show no one would be expecting it: "It’s more for my dad’s generation. It’ll be out in a week. You’ll see then."

Perfect is the fourth single to be released from Sheeran's mega hit third album ÷ (Divide).

The hitmaker says he wrote the song about his longterm love Cherry Seaborn, who he first met when they were in secondary school in Suffolk.

Lucky Girl.
