    Govt informed of potential LinkedIn job cuts in Ireland

    LinkedIn is preparing to announce layoffs today, according to Reuters and Bloomberg. The Microsoft-owned social network plans to cut about 5% of staff as it reorganises teams and focuses employees on areas where its business is growing, said a source, on condition of anonymity.
