Seán Óg Ó Ceallacháin was RTÉ's longest serving broadcaster. His 'Gaelic Sports Results' programme went out on radio every Sunday night from 1953 until Seán Óg's retirement in 2011.This show was previously presented by his father Seán Ó Ceallacháin.
Here Seán Óg recalls the fall-out in 1955, when in the course of his commentary he named a player who had just been sent off. This stating of the facts did not please the then GAA Secretary, Pádraig Ó Caoimh.
