The parents of Joseph Meleady, one of the two Tallaght men who claim they were wrongly convicted of car theft, have called for his immediate release from prison. They also want a declaration by the Director of Public Prosecutions that his conviction, as well as that of Joseph Grogan, could no longer be regarded as safe. Grogan has already completed his sentence.
