Gardaí have named the man who was shot dead at Healy’s Bridge near Prosperous, County Kildare. He was Dessie Fox, a County Tyrone bookmaker, and he was shot on his way to the Curragh Races. He was alone in the car and is likely to have been carrying a considerable amount of money on him.
